The remote control of the Triple Dragon set-top box uses two levels, the direct level and the shift level.
The direct level controls the set-top box and the PVR extension box, the shift level the TV and the Dolby
Digital extension box.
Direct level : Control commands are sent to the set-top box. The RED LED[2] glows as long as the
key is pushed.
Shift level : By pushing the SHIFT button[18] the shift level gets activated for 5 seconds. It is
indicated by the glow of the GREEN LED[1]. If a key with shift level function is pushed
within 5 seconds, the control command will be sent. After that the shift level will be left
automatically and the GREEN LED[1] stops glowing. If a key without shift level
function is pushed within the 5 seconds, the shift level will be left at once and the
GREEN LED[1] stops glowing.
To control a TV with the remote control, you need the according code number of the TV. This three digit
number can be found in a codelist that can be downloaded at the Triple Dragon Info Page. The remote
control has to be in programming mode to enter the code.
The programming mode is activated by pushing the TV button[11] until the GREEN LED[1] flashes two
times. If you have found a valid code for your TV, you can enter it now by using the Numerical button 0
to 9. Confirm the key by pushing the OK button[29]. If you have entered the code number correctly, the
GREEN LED[1] flashes two times. If not, the RED LED[2] glows for 3 seconds.
If you cannot find a code number for your TV, you can try to find it by an automatic search. Activate the
programming mode, type in the code number 0 1 0 and confirm by pushing the OK button[29]. The
GREEN LED[1] will flash two times. Now push and hold the TV button[11]. Every 1.5 seconds a new
code will tested by sending the stand-by command to the TV. If your TV goes into stand-by, you may
have found a valid code. Release the TV button[11] and try the other keys to see if your TV reacts
correctly. Push the OK button[29] to save, if you have found the correct code. The GREEN LED[1]
flashes two times. If all possible codes were tested and the TV button[11] was not released, the RED
LED[2] flashes five times and the programming mode will be left.
