Before starting, please make sure the connection with your PC and receiver.
First of all, your Hyper Terminal has to be set as followed.
HyperTerminal Setting
Bit per Sec. : 57600
Databit : 8
Parity : None
Stop bit : 1
flow control : None
First of all, please download "boot_*.bin" file first. This file make the receiver working with copy to copy function. (This file is only for IRCI model!!!)
1. When you turn on the Power button (Not stand-by button), you will see the following massage on the Hyper Terminal. (If your receiver don't have Power button on the rear panel, please pull out the power cord from the socket and push it again) (If the "Caps Lock key" is selected on the computer keyboard, download process is not working. Please check this.)
Z-Modem To upgrade SW, Press 'z' key within 1 sec
2. You have to press "Z" key on the keyboard within 1 second as above message. (Very quickly!). You will see the following massage.
SW Upgrading...
Select one....
1. S/W Upgrade.
2. Boot Upgrade.
3. Quit.
3. Please select "2".
4. You will see "Enter Password" massage on the Hyper Terminal.
5. Password is "1234". Please press it.
Now the receiver will be automatically setting itself. After finishing the process, please download "r*.*" file.

3. Please select "1" and you will see the following message.

Ok! Now, send the file...
4. After above massage, please select the file and send it. After the file sending, you will see "good" on the front panel. DON'T TURN OFF THE RECEIVER. The receiver will be reset automatically.
5. You will see the following message on the Hyper Terminal.
Now, flash erasing. Wait a minute.

And then this message will be changed as following.
Write
oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ooooooooooooooooooo
Finally you will see the following message.
END
Now you can turn off the receiver.
